Privacy policy

1. What we collect
Account details — your email address, name if you provide one, and password (stored only as a secure hash, never readable by us).
Purchase details — your orders, plan, and license keys. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record; we never see or store your card number.
License activity — device identifiers and sign-in metadata (such as a hashed IP address) used to activate your license, enforce device limits, and protect accounts from abuse.
Feature data — when you use server-backed features, the data those features need is processed on our servers, such as the note data of MIDI you export.
Support messages — what you send us when you contact support, so we can help and keep context.
2. What we don't collect
Your DAW projects and audio stay on your machine. We don't sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
3. How we use it
To run your account and licenses, deliver downloads and AI model packs, send transactional email (verification, receipts, license keys), prevent fraud and license abuse, and answer support requests. We send these emails because they are part of the service you signed up for.
4. Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: Lemon Squeezy for checkout and billing, our email delivery provider for transactional messages, and our hosting provider where the service runs. Each receives only what it needs.
5. How long we keep it
Account and license records are kept while your account exists and as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations. Security logs and sign-in metadata are kept only as long as needed for abuse prevention.
6. Your choices
You can view and update your details from your account. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, email support@auroramelody.shop from your account email — we'll confirm and act on it within 30 days, keeping only what tax or accounting law requires us to retain.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, license checks use signed tokens, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for the failure cases.
8. Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll post the update here and note the date above. Questions? Email support@auroramelody.shop. The terms that govern your use of Aurora Melody are in the Terms of Service.
